Lights should be turned off when not in use. Please help us to conserve power, it costs us 3 X the amount that it costs most people. Please do not use hairdryers while you are up here.

Paper plates, napkins, towels and cups go in a special trash can. All other trash goes in the other trashcan. This way we can burn our trash, otherwise we have to take it home with us.

Hold the toilet handle down so that the toilet flushes twice. These toilets do not hold a lot of water, and this will reduce the amount of clogs. If you do plug a toilet, please fix it or come get me the host to help you with it. Please don’t leave it as a surprise for the next person.

Always walk with someone if you go for a hike in the woods. There are maps available for hikers and please let a responsible one know where you plan on going and returning.

Only in the dineing area and kitchen are food allowed. Please do not take food to your rooms. Food attracts mice, mice attract snakes, and we don’t want snakes!!

Under no circumstances should there be jumping on the mattresses.

Sleeping bags and pillows can be provided if you need them, so please let us know
